History
John De Wilde was founded in 1927 by the third generation as a cultivation company of Azalea Indica.
After optimizing our production, we took on a new challenge by exporting ourselves. Our goal was to create a more efficient path between grower and end-consumer. Therefore, various export companies were acquired and brought together in our business in Laarne. Today, with a competent team of employees, we export a broad portfolio all over Europe, up to North Africa.
Activities
On the one hand, we hold a plant production that consists of approximately 1.000.000 conifers and 700.000 Azaleas. Thanks to good cooperation with Belgian, French and German growers, we can provide a wide assortment of all indoor and outdoor green plants, from cacti and succulents, conifers, hedges and trees to indoor and outdoor flowering plants.
On the other hand, we always have Danish containers, shelves, posts and extensions in stock for both rental and purchase.
In addition to 35.000m² greenhouses and 75.000m² container fields, we have a well-organized infrastructure of 2.500m² warehouse and 10.000m³ cold storage. As a result, we are able to meet the specific needs of our customers.

Sustainability
We are keen on contributing to a better environment by focusing on local purchasing. Furthermore, our firm runs continuously on green energy using solar panels. We utilise pots made of entirely recycled materials – called PCW materials – which are 100% recyclable in turn. We also recycle our water and keep chemical pesticides to a minimum.
Thanks to our Global Gap certified products, our customers can expect high-quality products that are approved by food safety as well.
